Dinghy Results 14th February

Racing was very close among the top contenders in the Sabot class last Sunday.

In the first of two races Ty Stephenson in his boat ‘Fire 6’ crossed the line 4 seconds before Cody Steindle sailing ‘Admiral T’, with Ben Osbourne in third place sailing ‘The X3’.

Race two in the Sabot class saw some retirements due to the difficult lumpy swell and waves but once again there was a close finish with 'Fire 6' and 'Admiral T' first and second, with Dane Bulder sailing ‘Robin Hood’ placing third.

Provisional results in the Catamaran class saw the Nacra 5.7 boats ‘Armaggeddon’ and ‘Slytheryn’ sharing race honours with ‘Wet Pussy’, a Nacra 16mtr taking third.

Sunday's racing was held off the southern breakwater of Mackay harbour.
